I have created this website to showcase our Shih Tzu.  Our Shih Tzu have blessed us with their love, and as a shih tzu breeder  we hope to continue that Love's Legacy.

We strive to produce beautiful, well mannered, healthy shih tzu puppies.  We participate in conformation dog shows, obedience and health test to OFA standards all our shih tzu, to help ensure we are meeting the breed standard and are breeding the best all around shih tzu we can.

I do not support the indiscriminant breeding of pets for profit, such as designer mutts, unregistered or poor quality shih tzu with no health testing.

There are far too many poor quality shih tzu and shih tzu mixes being bred for profit only, with bad temperaments and health problems.

We are not a pet store or a "for profit pet breeder" We are a small hobby exhibitor/breeder.  We do not breed to produce pets to sell.  Each breeding is carefully planned to produce a puppy that meets the Shih Tzu breed standard,  that we can hopefully show in conformation or performance events and use in our breeding program.

Of course not all puppies will be show quality or suitable for our breeding program, so we will often have pet puppies for sale to place in loving pet homes.

Shih Tzu do not have fur, they have a drop coat similar to human hair.  Shih Tzu do not shed but if kept in a long silky show coat they do need regular grooming.  Shih Tzu can be kept in a cute, fluffy, easy care puppy clip.

We have medium size shih tzu in traditional colors Gold & White, Silver & White, Brindle & White.

We also have small size shih tzu in non-traditional colors, Chocolate, Blue, Pure White and a Deep Red.
